I'm heading up to the hospital now. They think my grandpa had a stroke or a TIA. The doctor said they need to repeat the catscan because it can take 12-24 hrs for a stroke to show up; they are admitting him now. We went through this last year and he pulled through. I'm not ready to say good-bye yet so any thoughts or prayers would be greatly appreciated, again. His name is David & his 83rd birthday is tomorrow. Thanks ladies!

Prayers and well wishes for your Grandpa. Will be thinking of you and your family, I hope everything's okay after the repeat catscan. And a big Happy 83rd birthday tomorrow!

I'm so sorry, not a good way to celebrate his birthday. Prayers and big hugs on the way.

Thanks ladies. I went to sit with him last night for a few hours. He was in pretty good spirits, but exhausted & they hadn't given him a breathing treatment all day long. He usually gets 4 of them every day due to pulminary fibrosis. I told both of his nurses it was imperative that he get a treament ASAP, they told me it 'wasn't in the orders.' Finally a respiratory therapist came in to check on him. She said she would get tot he bottom of it. They were going to do a catascan with contrast this morning. They also said that it was definitely a stroke, so they are trying to get more answers. I'll keep you posted. Thanks for the thoughts & prayers.
