Now don't flame me please. I am not asking y'all if you think I should get one, I am just wondering if any of you have done it and if you are glad you did. I think I am going to do it. I am a 34 A and I hate it. I am in good shape and I have a decent body and I have always just hated my tiny chest. My sister was the same way and she had hers done a couple of years ago and she loves them. She is the only one I know that has done it. I have a consultation appt. scheduled with her plastic surgeon at the end of the month (her dh is a doctor and this guy is a good friend of theirs and has an excellent reputation). I still might chicken out, but if I like him and it feels right I am going to have it done this summer.

So if any of you have had it done, how did you decide what size you wanted to be? It is such a strange thing to think about!

I haven't had one, but I'm a 38 A so I know where you're coming from--my sisters both have cantelopes...instead I got two blueberries on a melted sundae.

On the upside, as I always tell my sisters, I don't bruise myself when I jog!

I'm not flaming you. I'm on board! I gave myself five years to get my body back to how it "used" to be and then tack on some boobs!! Dh is quasi-supportive. He of course "loves me the way I am ...blah blah blah blah" but completely understands my own frustrations. I am not a vain person...normally....I just want to look feminine and have SOMETHING to fill my bra. I'm not talking double Ds either! I'm talking a full B!!!!

After kids I am now a C cup, but not a pretty C cup. If I could afford it I would get a lift in a heartbeat!

A good friend of mine was a 34A in college and desparately wanted a boob job so her parents bought her a set for her 18th birthday. Her dad said that why didn't they buy one and see if she liked it before buying the complete set. LOL Anyway, she got them both done and said it was the best thing she ever did. She only went up to a 34B (a pretty full B, but a B none the less) and so many people never even noticed but it made her feel so much better and so much more confident about herself.

I am a 34D so I think I will be staying right where I am. LOL

I wish they would let me give you some of my, maggie. I am a 40 DD. It would be nice if they could figure out how to get some of my fat to your boobs to make them bigger.

Thanks ladies. And yes, all I want is a full B. I don't want big ones, just something! I am tired of having to alter all my clothes and it is impossible to find bathing suits that are flattering and I think the padded bras look so obviously padded. I am just ready to stop thinking about it and enjoy my body if you know what I mean. I feel like I have spent the last 7 years kind of detached from my own body - having babies and gaining and losing weight - and I have been putting everyone before myself for years now. I have been working so hard to get in shape and finally things are looking good. I just want my boobs to "match" the rest of me. I have hips and broad shoulders and I think the boobs will make me look a lot thinner because I will be more proportioned.

I will keep you posted. My appointment is in a few weeks. I am nervous but excited too!

I could definitely use a lift! DH and I met when we were 25, I hadn't had any children yet, and had a decent C without having to wear a bra around the house...they stood up just fine! Now it's all a joke! I used to be against it, but now that I know gravity is only going to continue to make these things droop, I'll take one!!

I don't want a boob job as after losing 50 pounds I have gone from a 44D to a 42C lucky me huh? Although they are not that attractive anymore after nursing 3 babies.

What I want is a tummy tuck! I so need it!
