I have... about 4 yrs ago. It was the best thing I could have ever done for myself.

I was a 54F
I am now a 40C, my boobs look better than they did when I was 16! I was never perky - now I have a hard time finding bras and bathing suits that cover the tops of my nipples lol
Sorry if thats TMI!! My shirt size was a 26 now it is a 20.

I have met only 2 people that had it done so I was wondering if it is really uncommon..? And were you satisfied with the outcome?

I want, I want, I want...with all my heart!! So far, we just can't afford it. Why? Well, because the only way I want it done is to have a tummy tuck at the same time!! I am a 44DD.....but I don't want them gone until my tummy is, too!!
BTW...My mom had it done about 14 years ago. She was as big as you...and went to a 40B!

My friend had it done and insurance helped quite a bit because she was able to prove they were causing back problems.

My insurance paid for all of it but $25. I had 7lbs of mostly breast tissue removed, the surgery lasted 6hrs. The MD that did it was the most experienced in this area, he had done over 1000 of them by the time I saw him. He told me it was usually a same day procedure but mine was going to be quite extensive due to my size and the rebuild so I stayed overnight. I got the bill a few weeks later, it cost over $15,000!

I had put it off for a year because I wanted to lose weight but the pain I was having in my neck back and shoulders, the headaches and skin rashes were unbearable so I decided to go through with it. I'm so glad I did not wait... not having those things hanging off my body made it easier for me to exercise and motivated me to lose weight. The MD said he removed all the fatty tissue (there was very little to begin with) so if I were to lose weight it would not affect my breast size. He was right, since the surgery I have lost 60lbs, my breasts are the same size.

I would love to have it done. It's on my list, trust me, just never seems like the time is right. I don't wish my breasts away, but I sure do wish them smaller than a 36DDD/36F. They are way too big for my size 8 self.
