Well, I definately know that when we die, it's not over.

I have a couple of people that visit me--not only at night but sometimes during the day (one person). It's not scary, it's very peaceful but I don't always know what it is all about right away--things happen for a reason.

My dad had a "conversation" with my great-uncle (he was like my father and he also raised my dad), anyway, he told my dad of a place where they had buried a jar with coins and a lot of cash (this family had money way back in the day and they hid it so they wouldn't get robbed (also to avoid taxes), I guess my great-uncle's dad was sort of "crazy" and did stuff like this just to do it and keep people guessing) anyway, my dad dug and he found the jar! He found a bunch of coins but there was no currency--the jar was broken--it was under a shed (dirt floor) that had burnt down about 15 years ago. (I think the heat from the fire burst the jar and likely burned the cash)

My grandfather visited me once also--he brought a girl with him (she was about 12 years old) she was dressed in very old-fashioned clothes (think Little House on the Prairie--like Nellie Olson), she had blonde curls and a large bow in her hair, my grandpa was dressed modern. He was as present in my room (well, actually his room because I bought their house after he passed away--but this was like 5 years later) he was as present as the bed I was laying on...oh and I was wide awake at the time. I don't know who the girl was.

In our old home, we had several experiences (DH and I) but they were not happy ones and we prayed that they stay away and for the most part, they did. The most vivid was when I had a dream of 2 babies--a boy and a girl, I knew one was special to me and they were the same age--they were in heaven and at peace. Made no sense to me at the time....a few weeks before that I had a miscarriage and I had the most awful experience--I don't care to discuss it but it was really a battle and very uncomfortable, then just peace. To make a very long story short, I knew that one of the babies was ours but having 2 there threw me off....my SIL was due 4 months before me with their first child--a boy. He died a day after he was born. I believe that was him with our baby.

This is something that my great-uncle told me when he was alive and constantly reminds me.....when someone suddenly pops into your head that you haven't thought about in quite a while, or you see something that reminds you of someone, that's their way of letting you know that they are with you and it's a good time to say a prayer for them.

I love having dreams about my mom!!! I just feel it's her way of letting me know she is with me and she's watching over all of us.

I have dreams about my daddy who died last July we were extrememly close and I was his only child. I always dream he and I are talking as we BOTH get ready for his funeral. Sometimes he is just telling me to remember things we did together.

He visits my 2 yr old Ds daily. He was my dad's only grandchild (biologically). He would always come over when he was down for a nap and make me wake him up so he could see him. Well to the day there are days I will put ds down for a nap and his toys will start going off and making noise until ds wakes up. Sometimes in a stern voice I will say "Daddy LET HIM SLEEP! You can play in a little while" and they stop. Other times ds will come tell me "PawPaw, do Piti Boo (peek a boo)" and will go in his room and play it with someone in the corner. I just smile, I always knew he would be with us forever.
