Hey everyone! I am new to this part of the forum, so I will give a brief intro...
I am a SAHM of four kids, ages 10, 6, 4 and 2. I have a hard time making or taking time for myself and really sticking to some kind of routine for long periods. Between 1st and
2nd child, I lost 20 lbs. I came home after having the 2nd child and was the same weight as when I got pregnant and lost another 20 before I got pregnant with the 3rd! This was with the help of WW. I have attempted to go back and lose additional weight, but the funds are tighter as you have more kids and time is limited, etc... So, now I have four kids. I weigh about the weight I did when I was pregnant with each of them!
For the past month, I have been waking and getting on the treadmill, at first 2-3 times a week and this past week, I did all 5 days and even got up this morning, Sunday, and walked on the treadmill as well. I am also watching what I eat. I have lost 1.5 lbs in the last week. Besides making a new "routine." I hope I can STICK to this routine and stay motivated.
My goals are to:
Increase the time I spend on the treadmill, Currently 1 mile, about 20 minutes with warm up and cool down
Write down the food I eat to keep better track of it
Continue to drink 90oz of water a day
Lose about 5lbs a month (50 to lose)
Is there anyone else out there that needs a workout buddy? Reporting in and checking with one another would be great.
