So dh comes home with yet ANOTHER brilliant idea:

DH: So hun why don't we run in the 5k race next week together?
me: Ok....where? and WHAT time this time?
DH: Oh it's local this time..
me: oh good.....so what time?
dh: 10:30
me: hey that's doable...I'll look into getting a sitter
dh: "yah good idea. Tell them the kids will already be in bed"
me: huh?
dh: it's 10:30 AT NIGHT!
me: WHAT?
dh: (laughter)
me: you know my bedtime is at 9:30 right?
dh: this will be fun....they are calling it a midnight run
me: dude, I will be running in my sleep
dh: c'mon....it will be fun
me: I'll think about it



So, is he insane or what?

Well I am not a runner, unless I am running for my life! I do not think that I could run @ 10:30 at night though-I wouldn't have the energy after a long busy day! Your dh must have a lot of energy.

Geez- your DH has got to get the right times for runs don't he ! Yeah- I think you can do the 5k-but the times are horribly wrong! Tell him to look for a more appropriate time next time he finds a 5k for you to run with him! I would of kicked him for that one- no one interrupts my sleep time (I barely sleep so when i do- I can't be distrubed!)!

Are you going to take it into consideration though? If you do- good luck and I know that you can do it!

You know my feelings...unless someone is chasing me with a battle axe, I ain't runnin' anywhere, let alone at 10:30 PM!!!
