Have you been getting my pms, emails, anything? I PM'd you a few days ago and then my computer froze when the message was being sent.

I'm sneaking on right now.. LOL I got your pm this week but not the one that froze up.. I thought I pm'd you back.. but maybe I didn't.. I haven't gotten any emails..

I forgot which weekend you were leaving and thought it was last weekend.

I ran a mile yesterday.. 7:30 on the treadmill though.. it is too stinking hot to run outside. Well, I might today, I have to wait and see how humid it is..

I have decided that I am running the 1/2 marathon again this October. So wish me luck in training. Last year, I could run 4-5 miles everyday at work, but this year that is going to be a little harder.

Stay safe and have fun on your month trip!! You never know, maybe we can meet up along your route somewhere!!

Nope didn't get a PM back! You see, there are forces working against us!

Hey good luck with your training. Very ambitious...love that. You're so inspiring to me! I hope to run a 10k this fall....we'll see how that goes and then if I live through it, a half marathon this spring....


We were supposed to leave tomorrow but things are not going according to plan with dh's work so we may/may not leave on Monday. It's all up in the air (welcome to my life!!)
I will be packing my running gear and running in CO, SD, MN and WI. I fear running in areas with hills again. I've kinda grown used to the flat terrain of OK!!!!

Have a great weekend. Hopefully we'll catch up after I get back!

Remember, hills are your friends! LOL

Running hills makes you stronger. and besides you use the incline so that will help you. You will smoke up those hills.. I just know it!

I was running the other day here at work and there was a guy from work running up ahead of me about 1/4 mile. So, of course, I was trying to run fast enough to pass him. I found great pleasure in surpassing him going up a hill!! Man, I was smoking!! HAHAHA He didn't know what past him! LOL j/k I did pass him though on the hill and there is no greater pleasure than that!! Passing a man running on a hill....

I like doing that too ~ not running on the hills, but passing someone or at least closing the distance between them and me. It's challenging and wakes me up!

The other day I was running my neighborhood. There was a man that had just passed me running a different route. At some point my route linked up with his and I was behind him...it took everything in me to close the gap.....it felt good when I could finally hear him breathe (I had gained that much ground). Then I collapsed at home when I was done!!!!!
