I just wanted to update you all. Lawrence went thru his surgery Monday. Everything went good. Not sure all the details yet, but I know that he is doing good. He is still critical, but stable. Please continue to pray for him.

Sorry it has been a bit since I have updated youns on Lawrence, things have been busy. I have been running dh's grandma to hospital and drs. Been a very busy weekend. Anyway he has been thru several surgerys cleaning up his skin. They did one for both of his arms, they did another one for his legs and then one today for his back. He did loose his foot and we are disappointed about that, but God knows best. They were talking about putting pins in his fingers for a time to keep them from drawing. Not sure when or if they will do this or not. OK to the GREAT news.......he opened his eyes three times today! THANK GOD!!!!!!!! They are waking him up gradually! I am so excited and know that God is working a miracle in him daily. They did put a trech in bc he would be needing the machines for a bit, but that is something that he can overcome too. Please continue to pray for him and Michael!

I am in the area and have been somewhat following the story. I will be keeping him and Michael in my thoughts & prayers as well as his doctors.

Lawrence did not respond as good today as he did yesterday and Michael is kinda down. I know he will have good days and bad days, but I hate it for Michael. It is so hard on him watching his daddy go thru this. Lord willing we are going to go to the hospital on Sat. I wish we were closer and could go more often, but they are always in our thoughts and prayers.
Again, thank you to everyone. Your thoughtfullness will never be forgoten.

Thanks you two, I greatly appreciate it.
We made it to see Lawrence yesterday and he looks really good. The nurses always get a kick out of us bc we say he looks good and since we haven't seen him in 2 weeks he does look good! They may have to take his fingers off too. We are not sure about how many and I am praying hard that it is not all of them. He was running a small fever when we left so I am praying that it was nothing other than the room was way to hot.

Cheesecake Lady......you are very right. I am thankful that he is alive! He is a very blessed man to still have his life after all of this.
