I figure if there are any runner's out there you might like to read this. Be Safe Out There - MSN Health & Fitness - Diet & Fitness
I read it because I plan to start running. I found one section in this very interesting I suppose because, I've been thinking about trying to find a path through this park right by the house. The one I found though, kind of leads behind it's baseball field as well as to the side of a grocery store (a little ways a way). There are a lot of big bushes and stuff. And as my husband and I were going for a walk one day with our daughter, that's the first time I was back there. And all I thought was, "I don't think I want to run here. No one could really see me well." And I saw some bushes that looked as if someone has hung out down um, behind/ under them. The grass and weeds were smashed down as well as the area down there. And unless you're really looking down there, someone could go unnoticed, and easily attack you. Some people would think I'm just being paranoid but... I like me and my body be safe. Thank you very much lol. So, I think I'll stick with the side walks, and possibly run this path in the middle of the park (because it's in an open area. Street, and apartments right by).
