I personally do not have one. Have you been doing a bunch of research? Not that I am saying it's a bad investment, but what I did before I bought my treadmill was I read as many customer reviews as I could. I spent a pretty penny on that thing so I didn't want to be disappointed when it arrived and broke down two months later.

Really do your research and continue to ask people if they have heard anything about it

Good luck!

Uh Oh no I never thought to reasearch it!I did the dang pedometer and there is alot of them that are bad!I still would like to get one but now sure what kind.Everyone I looked at had bad comments about it.The cheap ones seem really bad and 9 out of 10 of them don't work. What kind did you get Christy?

I feel like I am lifting my legs through a huge snow bank up and down and my butt and the back of my legs feel it huge and I am on the easiest setting too.My husband puts it on a harder setting and makes it look easy .I am not going to be doing it in front of him for a while.

I don't know what the brand name was, but if you spend between $10-15 on a pedometer from the store, you've purchased a pretty good one. I do know that you can find them much cheaper though, through online auctions etc. So check those out first!

As for his new machine...it does sound like you need to figure out what's up with it. Maybe the settings are off.

ok thanks.I was thinking of spending a bit more on one that has more than how many steps you take.I would like one with the calorie's burned and I foget what else there was on it.

It is my new machine. There is alot of setting's on it and yes I need to really get on it and figure out what works for me.Dh has a very physical job so he doesn't have to worry about working out.He does every morning lifting weights before going to work.He has done that since he was a teenager. He lifts very heavy things at work so he has to stay in shape.Me on the other hand I have a treadmill, all sorts of weights, exercise ball,Orbitrek,ab machine and push up bars.I get bored easily with one thing so I like to do 5-10 minutes of one thing and move on to something else and then keep going in a circle and doing a few things each day.I know for eveyone it is different and that is what works best for me.

This is the website I use to read up on the various treadmills and their reviews:

They also have a review section for elliptical machines:

You choose your brand and your model and then you can read the reviews!

Good luck!
