That can be a hard pill to swallow for some people. It's not easy seeing our flaws or admitting defeat or admitting fault. We are very proud people by nature.

As for being honest with ourselves - that really makes me think of the people I know who are not honest with OTHERS about themselves. People who try to build themselves up to others - lying about WHO they are. If you aren't honest about who you are when you present yourself to others, then everything you do is a lie.
