For those of you who went from not exercising at all, or exercising very little to exercising regularly successfully, how did you get there?

How did you bring that change about to start getting active and in shape/ losing weight

For me, it's stepping on the scale regularly. I've always been probably overly cautious of my weight though. My mom was always really tiny and then when she got older she gained a ton of weight and I just told myself that I didn't want to end up like that. I used to weigh myself everyday but realized that that isn't healthy for me. I need to enjoy life too and not totally focus 100% on my weight. I now weigh myself once a week and when it gets to a certain level, I know that I need to cut back on calories and kick the exercise up a level. Plus, it helps to have a 5 and 3 year old that keeps me on my toes all the time Good luck to you!!!

for me there is a you just have to do it for yourself mentality.
I have to think of it as my ME time. I have to put myself first and just GO. I put my family first for about 13 hours of my day I can give myself 1 hour of that. Somes times dd doesn't always let me but I get something in. I am starting to feel bad if I don't get it in like I have let me down. So that helps me work out more often. Also and the end of the week I am so pround of my self so that realy helps.
