HELP!!! I have been on a really good pace here. I don't know what is wrong with my foot. I have been trying to walk at least 2 miles a day on the treadmill and then also every other day some weights too. Well for some reason about 1.2 mile into my 2 miles my right foot starts to hurt on the bottom but from my little toe to my heal. It is the bottom but side of my foot that hurts. I guess it kind of hurt like I pulled it. I have kept walking (I need too I can't take a break now). I have newer sneakers. They are not that old vs. wear. They are more than a year old but I only wear them to work out/walk. They don't have very many miles on them up until recently. So help!!! Do you think I am walking wrong or do you think it is my shoes?? Any suggestions would help. TIA

Sounds like Plantar Fasciitis. According to my dr., orthopedic insoles are needed. BUT they are expensive. I would schedule an appt. w/ a foot specialist. It won't heal on its own if you stay on it. It needs rest AND stretching.

I strongly suspect my new shoes caused my problem. I'd bought a new pair of Skechers and had problems since, even after I stopped wearing them.

Thank you thank you thank you.... I am going to buy new sneakers as soon as I can. I didn't even think about it but theese are Nike and I usually buy NewBalance but they were on sale. So off my feet for a bit and buying new shoes. I didnt' even think about this but I had this same problem when I was in Sports in Highschool but never went tot he doctor about it and we would just tape my feet.
