Mid afternoon I am "Jonesin' " for something sweet and chocolatey! I typically grab a Jello 100 calorie vanilla and chocolate swirl pudding. They are so yummy! To add just a little more 'umph' to it, I sometimes crumble up some graham cracker and put that in there!

I also try and drink as much water as I can to see if the craving will last, of if my craving was just out of boredom!

What do you do? What do you grab for?

Oh the dreaded cravings!!!

I kinda do what you do. First I will have water, then I will wait 15 minutes- that is usually when the "feeling" passes- but if I am still craving it- I will cave and have a little of what I am craving. One thing that helps me is if I am eating something I really should not (and could get carried away and eat a ton of it)- I will read the package of all the nutritional values and eeks- the list of ingredients (that can be scary!).

I would say water. When I start to look around the kitchen and want to grab anything- I will then go for water- it also helps if nothing "good" to eat is in the house. This is easy to do if I go market shopping without the kids

I forgot to add what I grab!

Usually when I am craving something- for the most part it is something sweet. I am definately one of those people that tries to conterreact the things I eat- ie- if I eat something sweet i need salty or crunchy (I think I am going to do your thing Christy with the pudding!) and so on. One of my most favorite things to snack on is frozen grapes!

I cave Some days I do...I admit it. More than not tho' I try to have cheese sticks on hand (Part skim Mozzarella !) And eating one of those helps b/c it takes me a while to peel it and eat it (I make the peels as thin as I can and that takes time ) So by the time I finish the craving for whatever it is has [usually] passed.

Depends...sometimes I totally give in. LOL

Sometimes brushing my teeth or having a mint really helps.

If I want something sweet, I often have a cup of instant hot cocoa made with skim milk and that seems to do the trick (for a lot less calories and fat!).
