I think it is a cardnal rule that we are usually sick right around Christmas! i thought we were going to be in the clear since my oldest brought home a cold 2 weeks ago- now my youngest has a cold and I have one starting! I thought I decontaminized the house and beat it before it got us!

Anyone else sick? How do you try to hurry up your illness in your homes?

We- I should say I since I am the only one around here doing anything- sorry for that little rant!- use lysol on everything that is touched, bleach anything possible (use color safe bleach on the laundry). As for meds- I try not to take too many pills- unless I am going to be around a lot of people- which will happen this week since I am in charge of the Christmas party!

It does seem like once Thanksgiving rolls around so does the flu and other stomach bugs and colds. Last year our house got hit REALLY bad. To the point where I almost cancelled my flight home. But somehow everyone got it but me!!! Don't know how that happenned.

This year I started bracing myself around mid November for it to swoop through. I am still braced...and yes I will knock on wood once I am done typing!

I ALWAYS get sick this time of the year. My birthday is the 22nd, so I'm always miserable for my birthday and then Christmas. My little one was supposed to go for a checkup the other day and I postponed it just so that we wouldn't pick up any germs. I've found that Airborne helps if you start taking it at the first signs of a cold. I too do the Lysol and Clorox wipes because if you don't the family will just keep passing the germs back and forth and you'll never get rid of it. I hope you feel better and I'm with Christy- knocking on wood as we speak!

My girls have been sick several times since school started. Now my entire family is sick. I don't know the last time I had a cold this bad. I typically don't get as sick as everyone else.

It is a bummer that I can't exercise. I tried to walk on the treadmill 2 days ago and thought I was going to bring up a lung. Now my nose won't stop running!

Hope you feel better soon!

Well- I think we are coming to the end of our sickness! My nose feels like it is going to fall off- so sore from blowing it!- we all have that dry hacking cough that makes you feel even more gross! Christmas is only 2 days away and I think we won't end up with that icky stomach bug (I will keep my fingers crossed!).
