What made your heart beat an extra beat? What personal victories did you win? What did someone do just for you?

With the chaotic'ness behind us (most of us anyway) what feel good moments did you have this holiday?

A good friend of mine stopped in to drop off a gift card and a little starbucks ornament. It was nice that she thought of me.

My dh went to a little store that i just love and picked me out the cutest little ornaments.

Best of all my boys were soooooooo appreciative of their gifts. They didn't have the "is that all" attitude at all. They loved everything and let us know they did too.

This morning as i was leaving to go shopping at 7 a.m. my 7 year old yelled "Drive careful out there mom"......

Thanks for asking Doozer. What about you?

That is so sweet and thoughtful of him!!

For me: there are so many. Firstly my boys were very involved with the Christmas concert at the church this year, which was a first. My 4 year old really enjoyed his part too.

I joined the choir this year (just for Christmas) and it really put me into the Christmas spirit.

My dh was HOME for the holidays.....

and....as I type this I will knock on wood: we haven't been sick yet! We thought our youngest may have come down with something yesterday but it turned out to be exhaustion instead!

I don't know where to begin, but here's a few!

DH's grandma got me an angel figure that has a red-headed angel playing a harp and a baby angel sitting at her feet. She said it reminded her of me and the type of mother/wife I am. It made my day!

All my siblings and their families were at my parents' yesterday for the first time in years. We had a wonderful time together.

And, my brother whispered in my ear how nice it was to see me healthy again. I had to agree. Last year Christmas was horrible for me. I was still having the worst head pain and side effects from the medicine. This year I feel like myself again - med-free!

Last night we came home and all snuggled up on the sectional sofa to watch a new movie. DH looked at me and said, "This is the part of Christmas I like most - being with you and the kids."
