I honestly don't like the word "diet" to me it's like saying FAILURE. The word I would rather use, so that it's more permanent is
LIFESTYLE CHANGE.
If you don't like how things are right now and it's because of the habits you have created, than you NEED to make NEW habits. So that to me is a
lifestyle change..and it's permanent
1) incorporate exercise ~ thirty minutes of cardio three days a week to get your started
2) more veggies, less processed food
3) more time in the kitchen, less time online
4) stop buying junk: if it's not good for you it's NOT good for the kids, don't use them as your excuse. Cut out chips, cookies, soda, etc. Replace those "snacks" with healthier options so that when you get cravings, you are eating wisely too from teh choices you have stocked in your cabinets!
5) drink more water.......especially since you're upping your veggie intake
These are five simple steps to get you started.....once those steps become habits, we can add onto that!
