I am a list maker...I have lists for my lists....this is how committed to lists I am (Or a reason I should be committed...however you choose to look at it) But 1 list I NEED is my daily to do list.I plan out my day every day and when I complete a task, I check it off (I get great pleasure in seeing all the check marks at the end of the day...it's really twisted)). But last Thurs I decided to add something new to my list...Exercise.

Every night I goto bed and think...Okay I'll work out tomorrow and the next night comes and I think to myself, oh well, I'll just do it tomorrow...Tomorrow never seems to get here! So I thought hmmm...let me 'schedule" it, and crazy as it sounds, I hold myself more accountable if it is on my 'to do' list. I'm only on day 5 but let me tell you, I feel a HUGE difference in my attitude alone just making sure I do some type of exercise everyday.

Hmmm...maybe we should bring back exercise of the week?

My point though, is write it down and carve out a time of the day for you to do SOMETHING physical. Your body will thank you for it!

I agree it should be scheduled, I have tried to do that with the Y. Most of the time to no avail becauset someone always screws up my schedule!

Now sceduling something around the house well I now have a Wii system so I CAN do it. I have to move when I am playing and I have fun

Just this morning Evan and I played a few rounds of doubles!

Dude, I'm not just saying this to agree with you just to agree with you, but I am the VERY same way. I have lists of my lists too!

However, since having child #2, my lists get lost....with my memory. So this year I have vowed to get more organized. I started already with organizing my recipes into a nicely organized recipe book (eliminating those I have never used or forgot about and filling it with ones I want to try and have tried and liked). I also got a hold of an awesome menu planning template so hopefully my meals will get better organized too! (which may be a fun way to try out all my newfound recipes)

I also make a point of exercising in the mornings.....if it doesn't happen it doens't happen at all....however, with the new Y group exercise schedule, I may have to modify my work out times a little just so I get it in!

I agree with making it a scheduled event. It will make a difference and you're right (again) your body will thank you for it! (as will your dh!)

Yaaaay! I have found my fellow list freaks!
My friends make a LOT of fun of me!
I even have a daily itenerary.
I love it! I do try to hide it because I thought
I was obsessive. Now I don't feel so bad!!

Yes, I schedule my exercise or it won't get done!

When I go on vacation, listing out everything is almost
as much fun as the vacation to me!

I definitely agree. Things like that should always be a part of a schedule. That way, the time is already spoken for.

Might be hard for me at the moment to get outside though, since we have about 4 feet of snow on the ground. lol.

I do have an exercise ball though and a GREAT DVD for it. I should do that more, huh?
