Do you like to do things for yourself during the day? Or do you like to do things first thing in the morning?

Or do you have other ways you incorporate "me time" throughout the day? How do you spend that time with yourself?

I plan on more bubble baths in quiet with my favorite magazine OR for some think time. Now THAT is really living.

I like to be the first one up to do things like get organized for the day, have a cup of coffee etc - I don't really consider it to be 'me' time though.

Otherwise, I'm alone all day on school days...so if I decide I want to cuddle up with a book or magazine for an hour, I can do just that! Sometimes I call up a friend, meet someone for lunch or coffee, go for a walk, or work in the yard...I consider that 'me time' as well.

I do take a bath every night, every month of year and read a magazine...or sometimes just enjoy the quiet, the hot tub...a glass of wine. LOL

This is an area that I struggle with - especially since DD still doesn't sleep well at night and I homeschool our children. I hope to get into a routine where I get up before the kids and can take time to meditate, workout, do paperwork, planning, etc. DH and my mom are great about watching the kids, even if it's for just a trip to the grocery store. That gives me some "downtime." But, I do need to focus on me a little more. It's that constant battle between "Am I doing enough for them? Am I doing enough for me?"

I agree that this is an area I realy struggle with, I tend to start to fel guilty if I take a minute for myself. Not good I know, so I will be working on that this year! I like th eidea of a bath every night, not sure if I can do every night, but a few nights a week would be a good start!
