I forgot to mention some authors that you might be interested in getting their books. Jan Silvious has some wonderful books for those living with others with addictions. Steve Autorborn (spelling???) founder of New Life clinics has some wonderful books that you and your husband could read on addictions. Both of these are Christian authors that give good biblical information. There are many others that you could get. You could go to your local Moody radio website and there would be numerous websites that you could access for good sound information. You could do a google search for moody radio stations in your area (for example El Paso, Texas) and you should get all of the moody stations in your area. I hope this helps. You really need to have someone that you can talk to. Somebody that you feel comfortable with. I just want to encourage you to take some positive steps to make things better for everyone. God honors our steps in the right directions.

Well, I will tell you, I lost all respect for my ex-hub once we were married, and still have little to no respect for him now that we are divorced. It is a struggle for me to be civil to him alot. This is really something that has bothered me alot because I looked to the Bible too, when I was going through hell being married and I couldn't get myself to live up to the scriptures as others were telling me I had to do.

I think like someone else said, if both people are not willing to work with each other, then there really is no marriage at all. I pray that it gets better for you and your family.
