Sheryl,

If there is anything I know about you, it's your sacrifice and your selflessness that makes you a good person. You are truly doing God's work in your life. You devote all of your free time to provide and support your family, all the while setting a good example for the rest of us and your children (and grandchild). To feel you are more connected to God, have some time in the morning to just read the scriptures. I know at my church they give you a daily devotional schedule, in which you can read a verse a day. If you can manage to do that and then reflect on it throughout the day you may start to feel closer to him. If you can't, then try some devotional work online. Look up daily devotionals and read them and reflect. If that is not an option, take pride in the fact you are who you are and you are dedicating your life to being a good person. Talk to him in the car on the way to work, at work, on your lunch break, etc. It doesn't have to be a grand gesture, just something to make you know you are having that special time with him

((HUGS))

Simple yet profound.

[font="Georgia"][size="3"]I highly recommend meditation. Find yourself a quiet place, lock yourself in the bathroom for 10-15 minutes if you have to. Sit comfortably, play some quiet music (like those nature sounds) if you like. Close your eyes and imagine you are being surrounded with the white light of the holy spirit. In your mind or out loud, say "ah". This is the simplist word ever and it is also in God's name, "ah". Breath deeply and slowly and just relax. Imagine the white light healing each part of your body, starting at the top of your head and going all the way down to the tips of your toes. Just relax. You will feel God. Make this a habit, like part of your daily prayer time, to just sit and "feel" God's presence. It does work. I feel a tingling sensation all over my body like I've just received the biggest hug ever!! And I've also gotten rid of some major health problems that I've struggled with for YEARS!! Give it a try and GOD BLESS!!
