Podrunner: Intervals - Free Workout Music from dj steve boyett

Download this music that is designed for the couch to 5k interval training program. It is so much easier than timing it yourself.

If you don't have an MP3 player, you can load it on a CD. I was able to fit 2 podcasts per CD (well my hubby did it for me).

this is great I love working out to this kind of music and hate timing myself and music usually distracts me from watching the clock, so this is perfect. I'm downloading week 1 and 2, found a great 1/2 mile track near my house and am waiting for the rain to clear, hopefully by tomorrow afternoon or I might have to start in the rain

I did a workout without the timed podcast and one with it, it was such a huge difference! The workout flew by.

You are such a tropper for considering starting in the rain. I hope the weather clears up for you

So, I downloaded weeks 1-4 off of itunes this weekend and put them on our ipod. I created a new playlist and put them in a row.
When I went to the track this morning, I just started the playlist so I could hear week 1. It was great and so helpful. I was trying so hard to not look at the ipod to see how much was left, especially as it got near the end and I kept getting a side ache in the middle of a jogging interval and had to stop and walk 2 times. I just wouldn't let myself see anymore.
I kept going and going, then finally let myself look....I was 12 minutes into week 2! Since I used the playlist, it went directly into week 2 when week 1 was finished without skipping a beat.
I figured it was karma getting me for walking during a jogging interval
Lesson for next time.....do not choose playlist, only play the individual workout!!!!

Oh my!! No wonder you were getting worn out. Good thing you get a day off.
