Some of you might remember me telling you about this Boot Camp challenge I signed up for at my YMCA. It ran from beginning of Jan till today. It was 7 weeks, 3 times a week. The first day we did our weight, body fat & measurements as well as a 1 mile timed run, 2 minute sit up test and 1 minute push up test. Then we started our intense workouts. And boy let me tell you they were all intense! Well today was the day -- the last day. We did all our body & physical assessments again and here is how I did.
* lost 1 pound (been playing with these stupid 2 lbs now for like 2 months)
* lost 2 inches from my stomach (which is huge for me)
* and biggest change of all -- I dropped 2% body fat!!! I went from 21.8 to 19%!!!!!
Physical
* I ran 1 mile in 7m 03s
* I did 50 situps in 2 minutes (still need to work on my situps and strengthing my abs)
* I did 40 pushups in 1 minute.
So now I don't care about the number on the scale -- It shows that I'm losing fat & gaining muscle!!!
I'm so excited by and so happy that I signed up for this!
