I didn't get an info guide. Did it come in the mail?
I'm getting excited for it. So every day we need to get at least 10,000 steps or 30 minutes of exercise. For those of you who are already exercising every day, can you add an additional 30 minutes? What are other ways we can add more exercise to our days?
They are also doing Bonus Challenges -- once this challenge starts, we will need to check back on our team to see what the bonus challenges are.
"Bonus Challenges are a way for you and/or your team to move further ahead on your route, and even make up for the days when you may not be able to reach your goals. For all participants, completing a Bonus Challenge will move you half a point further along your individual route.
If you are participating with a team, each of your team members must complete the bonus challenge in order for your team to move half a point forward on the team's route (don't worry - you'll still move forward the extra half point on your own route even if all of your team members don't complete the Bonus Challenge).
There will be 4 Bonus Challenges offered during the 8-week Challenge. At the start of weeks 2, 4, 6, and 8, a new Bonus Challenge will become available, and you will have the remaining weeks of the Challenge to complete each of the 4 Bonus Challenges. "
When you go to enter your activity for the day, it will convert your activity into steps (so say if you do an aerobics class or go for a bike ride, you just enter that info and it calculates it for you!).
Once the challenge starts, we will start posting on a daily basis and keep the motivation going! We can do this -- it is only 8 weeks, lets make it good!!!
