I will be starting week 4 day 1 today. I'm excited for the challenge but also nervous! Looks like 2 - 5 min runs and 2 - 3 min runs (scary).

Linda - Great Job on the 28 minute run! I hope I can say that someday. You have come a long way since week 1! Congrats!

Debi - Congrats on the 40 min runs. Wow - I can't even imagine running that long now! My goal is to be able to run an 8k by this time next year. We have a road race in my home town every year and I vowed that next year I am going to run it. We'll see what happens!

Thank you & cheers to you You are doing awesome!!

I thought I was the only one that gets nervous about running alone. I stand in front of the treadmill and think, Why am I nervous? I'm the only one here.

I just finished week 1 and I'm starting week 2 tomorrow. I will have to drink a lot of water because I run outside and it's going to be around 90 a couple of days.

Oh my!

Well I finished but it was a rough one. Definetly the hardest one I have done so far. I even felt a little wierd and sick to my stomach afterwards. Hopefully day 2 goes better.

Thanks for all the encouragement, everyone. That is what kept me going when I felt like quiting. This site is awsome! It helps keep me on track.

Awesome!!! How fast are you running? Maybe slow it down a little bit. I have to hold on for a minute or two after I'm done running. It is definitely hard work... great job!!

Way to go! I definitely agree, maybe try slowing down a little bit - you do not need to run a certain speed, go as fast or as slow as your body wants. WAY TO GO!!!!

I've been walking 4.2 and running 5.6 on the treadmill. I don't know if that is too fast put maybe I will try to slow the running a bit next time. I am 5'11" so I know that makes a difference to. Hopefully tomorrow morning I will get to day 2. Depends how well the kids sleep tonight since I will have to get up at 3:30 to get it done. How fast do you walk and run?

I don't know about the height difference affecting speed, I never thought about it. I walk at 3.8 warmup and run at 4.8. I'm working towards distance not speed. I have been increasing my time each week.
