Nice job, KathrynHannah. I hope your trip was fun too. I had a "staycation" with my little one for a week this month and gained 4 pounds in one week right here at home! We ate out a lot and I didn't exercise that week. It has been 2 weeks and I have only lost 1 of those pounds so I am still 3 pounds up. I am totally like you with the number. I need that number to be what I am comfortable with or I feel fat no matter what. It is dumb, and I know it, but I can't help the negative thoughts. For the last couple of weeks I have had to take a good look at myself and realize that I still look pretty darn good even if I am a few pounds heavier than I like. But I am still bummed that I ate all that junky food and gained weight right before my week at the beach with my size 0 sister (the trip I have been dreading for other reasons that I posted about a while ago). I wish I hadn't done that.

Over the last couple of years that I lost the weight once and for all, I have had several episodes where I gained up to 5 pounds and sometimes I get it off in a week and sometimes it takes me a month to get it off. But I always do. And you will too, because you have changed your mindset. I am so proud of you!

Aww thanks so much for the encouragement. I needed to hear that today.

Wow things are crazy around here. Dh is gone and I'm trying to get ready for a camping trip next week. We are going wed after he gets back. My 6mth dd is being very demanding lately. And I have been trying to entertain 12 yr old dd. So I haven't been on much the last couple of weeks.

However I have been doing good. I go to the gym every other day. I even lost 1lb this week. I think I would have lost more but I had soda almost everyday this wk and I hardly ever drink it.

Great job at keeping up with it! It is so hard when our *lives* get so busy! But you are still putting forth the effort!!!
How come you were drinking soda every day? Did you just get that craving for it?

I'm doing good at maintaining my weight and just really building the lean mass. I've been doing good with my eating & all the snacky foods. I have been exercising every day and really getting my activity in.

Here's to a good week too.

Oh yes. I started craving it like crazy and it tasted sooooo good. I do that a couple of times a yr I think. But I will get back on track. Dh is trying to loose weight too and he comes back tomorrow so I don't want to drink it in front of him and make him want to drink it.....

Yes you can join in -- start small and set small goals. Don't take it all once. What are some obstacles you are facing???

well the main thing is that I do outside sales so I am always on the road and I am always busy so I eat a lot of fast food..please I have 4 kids that I have to take to sports and dance almost every night so I just make quick meals (from a box) and I seem to have a hard time finding time to get out and do anything
