I'm so excited! I lost 4lbs in the last 2 weeks! I was doing good loosing weight for awhile. Then no matter what I did I could not loose anything for 3 or 4 weeks. It was driving me crazy. I was working out a lot. I even changed my routines and started doing some crosstraining. It did not make a difference. Then all the sudden I started loosing again! I hope I keep loosing.

Can I join in on this too?

I just weighed myself this morning...EEEKKKKK!!! The scale says that I weigh 221.4lbs. EEEKKKK!!!! Before I met DH and before I had DD, I felt the best that I had felt in a very long time, and I weighed 197lbs ( I had lost 22lbs). I would like to get below 200, even if it is just 199lbs. DH has lost 35 lbs in the last 6 months but I just can't seem to follow what he is doing--he came up with his own diet system that is very confusing to me. I really need some motivation and some encouragement and advice!

Don't worry -- we will help you with the motivation & encouragement. A few things I recommend ~ start writing down everything you eat and make small goals. If you find you make small goals and then achieve one, you will be more inclined to keep going. You can do this -- ask questions, we are here for you!!!

Thanks. I talked to DH last night and he is on board with me wanting to lose weight and told me he would help me too. I also made 2 small goals for this week. First I want to make sure I get at least 1 fruit or vegetable with each meal (2 with dinner)... and second, I want to walk on our treadmill for 20 minutes daily. I think I can do this! Thanks for the encouragement.

DH's doctor told him if he limited himself to 3 carbs per day and 4 red meats per week, and then loaded up on veggies (limiting corn), the weight would melt off. It did! He lost over 30 pounds in a month. I loved the simplicity of her advice -- it was something even DH saw as easy, and doable without adding a lot of extra to the shopping cart. Salad was a staple at every meal (except breakfast lol).

You'll do great -- I'm rooting for you!
