I'm sure he's hoping you'll give up. Don't. Can you call him from a different phone where he wouldn't recognize the caller ID? Send him a bill? Threaten small claims court? Just make it clear he owes you and you are not going away.

I had money problems with a person also. We went throught the courts which did no good.I now have a policy that I will not lend out money again.

I also bvelieve it's how I talk to people that makes me seem crazy. Do you htink that your approach is the problem?

I would write him a certified letter stating exactly how much he owes me. I would give him a deadline to pay it and then I would file in small claims court. You will win and he will have to pay all of the court costs.

Make sure the letter is very professional and stick straight to all of the details you can prove in court.
