And it was AWESOME!!!

I am so glad we're doing this...and together makes it fun too. My friend needed something to jump start her spirits. Her dh is in Korea for the next year and she's right at the half way mark and is having a tough time. She's been really good about keeping herself busy and keeping it together but I know this is hard on her. So having this activity to do, and together is something she and I both can look forward to! I even think we recruited one more person!

Anyone else roller blading?

Oh and by the way, I am happy to report, I ran my three miles BEFORE I did my mile and a half blade!

Sounds like fun!

I hope to start again next year. I still don't feel comfortable blading while watching my 2yo. My husband has been blading when we do our bike trail with the kids.

I would like to try it out. But I certainly do not want to buy blades without trying first. I use to love roller skating growing up and have not done it in years.

If you can, try and get a used pair: maybe off Craigslist or at a yard sale.
Or even borrow a pair from a friend. They are definitely worth the money if you buy them brand new, however, if you are just starting out, try borrowing some from a friend first and give them a try!

It's a newfound freedom, I'm telling you. It's so much fun!
