It is Friday already -- where did the week go? This week flew by for me and I found I was not on the computer as much as I was enjoying my time outside. But this week coming up, I'll be on every day as it is suppose to rain EVERY DAY!

So this week I did 3.5 mile run on Mon, Wed and going shortly. On Tues I went to the Y for a full body workout and yesterday I did a power sculpt DVD here. So my workouts were pretty good this week. I am hoping to get to the Y tomorrow afternoon for another full body workout but if I don't that's ok. Boot Camp starts on Tuesday morning -- another 7 weeks of high intensity workouts. What did I do???

My eating, well let's just say I do not have the discipline to stop. I have that mindset oh I can just have one or a little taste of this. Mindless eating. I'm not paying attention to my stomach and if I am truly hungry. That is my goal for this upcoming week - listen to my body & stomach and not just grab food.

Hope everyone had a good week!!!!

This week was pretty good. I have been running and blading and enjoying it! I also had a nice compliment at the gym the other day so that helped keep my motivation high!

Today is Sets and Reps at the Y. I love that class. It's not boot camp but to me it's like doing "the firm" at home. After that work out I will probably go blading to loosen up those tight muscles and then tomorrow go for another run.

My eating has been all over the place. It's been good, it's been bad. But I am at least burning calories this week too!
Good luck Debi on your next seven weeks. You are totally going to rock the house!

I finished the Couch to 5k which I updated in that thread yesterday It felt so good to accomplish that goal.

I ran 3x this week, strength training one day. I slacked a little because we are remodeling and I've been moving furniture, cleaning, helping with the project. We hired a contractor to finish our drywall so we'll have a break from the project for a few days. The river is muddy so we won't be skiing. We are going hiking today and biking tomorrow.

My eating was fine. I did eat too many pretzels one day when I was at the park. I also had an organic hot dog w/bun ~ it was actually good! I will wait until tomorrow to see if I had a weight change.

Sounds like you guys are enjoying the weather, too. It is fun to get some exercise outside!

It was such a busy week for all of us here. The flurry of end of the year activity has started at both of my boys' schools and we have been running around all week. My dh had a huge deadline at work and worked until after 7 every night this week. No gym for me. Funny how the moms always have to be the first to sacrifice. Dh managed to get his gym workouts in during lunch of course. I did my 4 mile walk in the mornings (not today though) but didn't get a single strength training workout in. I will go tomorrow morning. Next week is going to suck too because dh will be out of town all week so I will be home alone with the kids. Sigh.... I can't wait until the fall when my little one will be in school 3 mornings a week and I don't have to wait until everyone else is seen about before I can work out.

I forgot to say that my eating was kind of all over the place too. The weeekend and the first of the week was bad but I had gotten control of it by Tues. and the last few days have been good. I have gone back to my journal because I feel like I was doing a lot of mindless snacking too. I have been keeping it around 1500 calories a day for the last few days. I decided not to try to lose that 5 pounds anymore and just focus on maintaining at 120. It is just too much freaking work to be any thinner than that. I like my curves and I like my dessert! I thought about how much effort went into getting to 115 and trying to stay there and decided that there are better ways to spend my time and energy. I want to be done with the weight loss portion of this journey.

I am still looking for a new challenge - something I can sink my teeth into this summer.

My eating hasn't been the best this week but I still feel like I have lost some weight. We'll see tomorrow. I finished week 5 of the c25k and actually ran 25 minutes instead of the 20 minutes I was suppose to run. I can't believe I can run that long. If you can't tell I was really excited about it! I have tried running in the past but never new how hard to push myself and I didn't know how long it would take to advance. I always ended up giving up because I didn't know what I was doning. That is why I love the c25k because you know exactly what you need to do to advance yourself.

Basically, I had a good week so far. I did eat poorly one day but all the others were on target. I did two weight training sessions (1 heavy upper body and one heavy lower body). I also rode my bike for 5 miles one day and ran 3 miles today. Tomorrow I am heading to the gym for a total body workout and plan to ride my bike again on Sunday.

I still haven't lost any pounds but I haven't gained any either. I did try on some clothes that haven't been fitting me and they now fit and look good so that is a plus. I am confident that if I can stay the course these final 7 weeks (till I go on vacation) that the weight will come off. Of course, I don't plan to blow it while I am away. I am just trying to reach my goal by then and then work on maintaining my weight at a more healthy weight for me.

120 sounds really good to me. Ultimately that is where I would like to be but I think that 125 is probably more realistic for me to be able to maintain without killing myself.
