Thought I'd share a tip from my aerobics instructor . . .
I was complaining that my shorts (stretchy, bikeshort style) kept riding up while I was working out, regardless of the spandex content of their fabric. She had just returned from a trade show and came back with "It Stays" Body Adhesive. It works like a roll-on deodorant and washes off with water. I bought some and LOVE it! You can find it from several online vendors.
It also works to keep other things in place like tank top straps, low cut tops, undies that ride up, etc.
I've been using "It Stays" to keep the ol' workout shorts in place for years. Here's some info on the Vinyl Acetate (it's used to make baby teethers):
"Ethylene Vinyl Acetate (EVA) is widely accepted as safe for use in teethers. EVA is a type of plastic that does not require a plasticizer and is bisphenol-a free, so it is considered to be non-toxic.
The Center for Health, Environment and Justice (CEHJ) recommends EVA as a safer PVC-free plastic alternative."
