Your "alone" time? Do you enjoy being alone, or do you avoid it? what do you usually do?


I was thinking about this a little while ago. Dh, dd & ds are all away doing their thing. I was sitting in my backyard and was enjoying my quiet solitude. Though I appreciate my alone time, I rather be surrounded by the people I love.

I have alot of alone time after work and on weekends. I realize how much I value it when I don't get it. In it, I read, "play" on the computer, watch tv, workout, etc. I also love the time I have with my family and friends. I am very close to DH and a few friends...don't know what I would do without them. I don't have to have groups and crowds 24/7 though.

I don't get much alone time, so when I get it I make sure to enjoy it as much as I can.

I relish my alone time. My Dad once said that if you are happy enjoying your own company, others will want to enjoy it too. During my alone time I like to read, walk or ride my bike.

I love my alone time. I usually go to MS or just relax and watch tv.

My alone time consists of being on MS, sitting on my deck in the morning with a cup of coffee and watching the birds, taking a hot shower, I even consider grocery shopping alone time yes there are other people, but it's without anybody tagging along.

I love my alone time! I'm alone every school day since my kids are school age...my Dh travels during the week, so I guess you could call some of my evenings 'alone' when the kids go to bed.

Dh has always been more than happy to accomodate me needing some space. He is not a person that needs a lot of alone time but he 'gets' that I do. Sometimes he can just tell I want to be alone...LOL. He'll take the kids for the day or even overnight somewhere. He's even arranged little weekend trips for me to my favorite cities, which I love. Sometimes I'll just tell him "I'm going to _____". LOL Just hanging out in the hotel room in my jammies...watching bad tv etc

I like to go to my local coffee shop and write cards or letters and people watch. I like stay home and read, sit outside, go for a walk etc

I love alone time. I don't get it much during tax season, it seems as if I always have someone around. When I do get alone time, I enjoy reading, spending time on the computer, shopping, taking a bath, or just watching TV.

Love alone time - never get enough of it tbh - and it recharges me when I do get it.

I read, write in my journal, or just sit and listen to the silence!!!

I also love alone time but I normally spend it doing things around the house that I have a hard time doing when DS & DH are home! - That's sad but true! If I don't feel like doing anything around the house then I'll watch a little TV or read a magazine!
