C'mon I need a laugh today...What has been your biggest beauty disaster? Ever...

Mine all involve hair...

When I was 12 I bugged my mom to let me get my hair cut (again it was long) and she wouldn't, she finally agreed to trim it for me, but even that was like pulling teeth t oget her to do it...Boy am I ever sorry I bugged her...She CHOPPED into it in the back and when it was done it looked like a freaking bullseye in the back of my head.

Remember Joey from New Kids on the Block? I had my hair cut in the "Joey" (it was down to my waist in the AM and up past my neck in the PM) the summer before Sophmore year in HS...I went back and no one recognized me! Very very short around the sides and back and a curly on top...UGH.

4 years ago, I decided to try out a "Strawberry blonde" color on my hair, I have been coloring it at home for years and am not afraid to experiment, but had only ever used blondes and browns up until this point. Well I tried it and CRIED....my hair turned PINK. I went over to my aunts house a mile away with a hat on and gave her a really good laugh when I took it off, but she being the Queen of hair color and experimentation, advised me to use 2 light ash browns to tone it down, Luckily it worked and I didn't have to pay a small fortune to get it stripped.

Not mine, but DH. DH emailed me at work yesterday & told me he was feeling a little "breezy" after a mishap w/ the razor.

My DH accidentally clipped a chunk out of his goatee. He now had a soul patch.

Oh. My. God.

It's SOOO not good. He's had a full beard most of the 20 years we've been together. About 12 years ago he shaved it off for a job interview and it was SOOO GROSS! His face was all smooth. ICK! I couldn't kiss him. But it grew back. Then, he started cutting the beard to a goatee in the summer (cooler), and growing it back full in winter. About 2 years ago he stopped growing it full as the sides started growing in patchy, and it was so gray. So now he just has the goatee.

Until yesterday. With just that soul patch, his double chin is really obvious. And he just looks all....smooth. I had to force myself to kiss him. He's growing it right back.
