Well, that and the weather isn't really cooperating! I posted a few weeks back about how I was going to start a walking routine to try to get in shape and lose weight. I've only done it 3 times!!! My excuse ( I know, excuses excuses excuses! ) is that by the time I get home from work at 5 everyday, I just don't have the time/energy to add anything extra into my night. We have to do dinner, bathtime, bedtime, dishes, straighten the house, etc before I can fall into bed around 10 or 10:30 every night. And the other excuse is that here in WI, its still kinda chilly most days. I know for myself I would be okay, but ds would have to come with me on the walks. Dh usually doesn't get home from work until a little after 6, so its too late/busy to go at that time.
I know, these are just excuses. But I've gotta make myself feel less guilty somehow!

You do sound like you have a busy day! I wouldn't necessarily call them all "excuses" however what will make a difference is how you prioritize your day!

If walking and exercising are things you want to make sure you do each day, than something on your "to do list" can either wait or be delegated. Only YOU can take care of you! AND I have always said, it's better late than never!

So, if you can manage to squeeze in a walk or work out before your day starts, that will be the most rewarding to you.....if you can't, than take some of that "tidying" out of your day (we all know how much time that can consume) and fill that time instead with a walk or run!

Good luck!

You can do this; you deserve to do this for yourself!!! It's hard to find "the time" - I always use to make up every possible reason not to exercise and then something just "switched" in my brain and I started figuring out how to get in the exercise.

It will all work out, don't beat yourself up about it!!! Set small manageable goals and you will make it happen.

Thanks for the encouragement ladies! I was actually able to get outside both Sat and Sun, so I'm hoping this is the start of a great week for me!
