I mentioned the devil in one of my posts today and before I completed typing it, I thougt they are going to think I'm out of my gourd. I'm not really sure what I think about the devil, is he or isn't he. I know when there are a mass of horrible, evil things I see on the news, I have to wonder if the worlds gone crazy or is he here doing his evil work. What are your thoughts on the devil?

No such thing. Evil is just a part of human nature.

He is definitely doing his evil work in our world today. I think he invades our minds and works on our thoughts patterns. If he can get some control there, he is in your life. Our thoughts control what we do, what we say, where we go.

This is what my rational self thinks, but somewhere in the back of my mind, I wonder....

I have to admit, out loud, it just sounds wacky.

The world is coming to an end! it seems violence is just escelating and escelating. When will it stop and how?.....makes you think......

I do wonder in the back of my mind how can people turn out so different. Is it circumstances, outside influences, or something greater as in the devil. I really don't know to be honest....

The devil is alive and real.
2 Corinthians 4:4 Satan, the god of this evil world, has blinded the minds of those who don't believe, so they are unable to see the glorious light of the Good News that is shining upon them. They don't understand the message we preach about the glory of Christ, who is the exact likeness of God.
Revelation 12:9 This great dragon--the ancient serpent called the Devil, or Satan, the one deceiving the whole world--was thrown down to the earth with all his angels.

The devil/satan is very real. Just pick up a Bible and read. Jesus encountered him often. As Christian's we are taught to put on "an armour" each day to be able to "fight him". The fight is not physically, but spiritually. We do have to be on our guard, because he is fighting to take our minds, our family, our world. (Just as a previous post said) Christian's believe that God is MORE powerful than satan, and satan will be destroyed. So don't be fooled into thinking that there aren't demons carrying out satans plans. We should all be prayerful, study the Word of God to be able stand against him(satan).
