My dad had open heart surgery many years ago. He told me that during his surgery he saw his mother and she told him to turn around and that it wasn't time for him, yet. When he woke after it was all done, the doctor told him that he had died on the table and they brought him back. This doesn't sound like many of the stories I read on that site, but that was his experience.

I love reading these types of experiences, they are wonderful. There's one on there that resembles what your ddad went through. This lady was in the operating table, she went through a light and her uncle turned her away, saying the same thing.
