I have been thinking about getting my personal training certification for some time now but was afraid to take the first step. I think I'm going to do it! I just found out one of my local Y's is offering the workshop in July (which is a study weekend & prep for the exam), so if I order the book to review & study now I can sign up for this workshop in July.

I'm nervous but excited at the same time -- I think it would be so rewarding for me.

Definetely go for it! Personal training is so rewarding!! Who is the certificate through? Once you get this one definetely go for either the ACE or NSCA personal training certification. You'll be much, much more marketable as a PT at other gyms and the information covered by ACE and NSCA is much more detailed than the other certifications.
