I cannot believe it is Friday already. Anyways, how did you do this week? Did you identify some weak areas for yourself? What are some hoorah's?
Myself - it was a good week. I did not workout on Wednesday but every other day have done some good working out. I told myself i was going to go for a run this morning but we have a huge thunderstorm overhead! So I may just have to hit the Y today for my exercise. We only have 1 more week of Boot Camp -- I will say it will be nice to get to sleep in a little bit!
My eating was pretty good this week - really paid attention to my snacking and tried to make sure I was only snacking on the "good" stuff.

I did really well this week, in terms of running. Being out here with nothing but roads, trees, and clean country air, it's easy to just run and run and run.
Eating, however, is more of a struggle. My parents LOVE their sweets. And I'm not talking about the odd candy bar here and there. I am talking about pies, cakes, cupcakes, chips, popsicles, fudgsicles. It's CRAZY!!!
I will say, however, that even though I have been tempted, I will allow myself ONE sweet each day. How can one resist a piece of home made RHUBARB pie? Warmed up with ice cream.....I mean, seriouslY?
I have been doing my crunches and core work outs too. I am trying to keep myself on track, even though we've been living out of a suitcase for almost a month!

Great job ladies!
Doozer, I can't believe it is almost a month already.
I had two awesome waterski rides on Sunday... preluded by a 4 mile run on the towpath. It was a great day.
I did my usual workouts the rest of the week. I strongly dislike the treadmill
I did ok with my eating, my husband was out of town so it was a small dinner every night.
Next week, I'm really going to try to get four days of running in and walk 2 days as a warmup for strength training.
We're heading to the river today so I will be getting a few ski rides in this afternoon. I'm running Sat & Sun because I will be taking advantage of my hubby being home so I can run outdoors.
Hope everyone has a great weekend!!

OK! I have stuff to report!
Saturday - Bike ride. I think it was like 3 miles - seemed a lot longer but my husband had his mileage thing on his bike.
Sunday - I went for a bike ride. Probably 5 miles. Used my road bike for this trip.
Monday - Probably a 2 mile walk with the family. I wasn't keeping great track at this point.
Tuesday - started using my pedometer (which I only wear when I walk, sorry, just can't keep it on all day - that's OK it's all extra walking for me ) so I walked 9392 steps.
Wednesday - I did NOTHING.
Thursday - 9325 steps
Friday (so far, I usually do two walks a day) - 5809 steps
And I'm sore but it is a good sore!
As for eating -- I do so much better about keeping my eating in line when I'm working out. I'm trying to cut down my portions -- it's hard because I like food!
And I've lost, I think, 3 pounds this week.

Great job everyone! I think this week is going better for everyone.
I got up at 3:30 and ran on Mon, Wed and today so far this week. I plan to go again on Sunday. They were all 3 milers but I have been working on increasing my speed. I am down to a 10:20 mile. I starting doing a little strength training. I did 30 minutes on Tuesday and Thursday. I also started tracking my calories etc. on sparkpeople which has really made me realize how certain foods add up faster than others. Hopefully it will help me start loosing some weight again. My weigh in is tomorrow morning.

Great job!!! Way to jump right into this. The portion control is the hardest part but you will get use to it!

Way to go Amy!!!! Sounds like a great week for you. I love sparkpeople -- it is an eye opener to see where your calories are going & stuff! Check out my page on there.

I guess you DO have stuff to report! Great job!!!!
Oh and by the way, doing "nothing" on Hump Day is perfectly acceptable!
Keep at it girl...no pain no gain....so proud of you!
