For those of you that have purchased your pedometers and are wearing it all day, were you surprised by the amount of steps logged? I have to say, I totally thought mine would be way more than it was! Yesterday was the first day I wore it all day, and I only logged right around 5,000 steps. It reset early yesterday morning, so I'll give or take a couple hundred from that. I do have an office job and sit for 8 hrs a day, but I still thought I would get in more than that, especially since ds and I went on our 20min walk yesterday!

After seeing this though, I've already started making little changes today. I can't exactly get up and walk around the office all day, but I'm taking the longer way to the bathroom, and printing to the printer farthest away. Hopefully my day today will be better, stepwise!

I haven't worn mine all day. It is a free one that my husband picked up at a convention and I didn't read the instructions before I toss them. Anyway, it would be curious to see how many steps I was recording before I started my daily walks. I suspect I would be surprised / frightened to really know!

Okay, yesterday had to be a fluke of some sort. Here it is only 2 o'clock and I have 4,327 steps in today. I'm thinking maybe I didn't have it clipped to my pants well enough so it didn't register every step? Oh well, at least I feel less lazy now!
