Do you think dreams have meaning?

I often dream vivid clear re-occurring dreams often about the same things. Sometimes I wonder if there is a deeper meaning there, especially when it feels like there is meaning and it makes sense.

Example. I was really struggling with life decisions in 1995. I had two really nice guys ask me out in a short period of time. I had two job offers in opposite ends of the country. I had no idea what to do! Then I had a very clear dream about a ski hill with 12 'runs'. (Skiing scares me: sorry skimommy). I knew that once I started down a run I wouldn't know how it would be rated. I wouldn't find out until 3/4 of the way down whether it was a double black diamond, or a blue circle. What I did know is that whatever path I took, I would end up at the bottom. It gave me great peace.

My dreams are usually involved around what is currently going on in my life but I don't think I've ever had one that opened up any new meaning for me.

I have beautiful dreams about fish! Sometimes the fish would be in fish tanks filled up with dirt and it would be electric eels popping thier heads up out of the sand. Other times I'm just mesmerized by the beautiful colors of the fish. They are always in fish tanks. Other dreams I have are of moving into a new place. Exploring all of the rooms, etc.

Yes, I do and I think sometimes it is God communicating with us and sometimes it is our subconscious. Remember Joseph? His dreams always meant something quite important.

On a lighter note, and my dh will kill me if he ever found out I told this!! We were in the middle of sex the other night, and he stopped because he had to pee. LOL Well, afterwards when I fell asleep, I dreamt that we were running a race and we made it half way but I had to pee really bad and went around a turn and a port-a -john was sitting right in the road and people were running around it. My whole family was running and we all had to go use the port-a-john. LMBO!!


I usually just dream of stuff like that that is happening in my life.

I have crazy dreams pretty often and I can usually tie them to something going on in my life. One stumped me a couple of weeks ago, though. I dreamed I was leaning over a trash can and I kept spitting out huge mouthfuls of broken glass. I couldn't get it all out of my mouth and I just kept spitting and spitting. Anyone want to take a stab at that one?!
