Great article, thanks for sharing it!  Walking is so good for you, I think the benefits get downplayed a lot because it is not a super intense exercise. The bottom line is that it is great for your heart, metabolism and muscles and doesn't tweak you in the process like so many other exercises do. Even as an avid walker, I need that reminder sometimes.
I'm glad the weather is improving, I'm looking forward to some much needed "me" time this weekend to get a nice long walk in (maybe the 5 mile loop around the lake, I think I'm up to the challenge!)
