I will be 51 in Nov, and I do highlight or frost my hair. Not because I have gray hair but because my natural is a dirty blonde. I like the lighter blonde look.

I will be 44 in a couple of weeks and I am an all natural blonde. When I do go grey, I will go with it! No dying for me.

I'm 34 and highlighted my hair since high school. I stopped last year. I colored it darker twice to get rid of the bleached hair. It has been several months and I haven't colored it. It is back to natural and so far I don't have any gray. I do not like gray hair for myself so I would color it if I had lots of gray.

I'm 43. I have been graying since I was in my teens - it just kept getting more and more noticeable. When I could no longer find a way to part my hair that covered the gray, I knew it was time.

I started coloring it to cover it up about 3 years ago and never looked back - I love it! I have it done professionally 3-4 times per year.

I color mine. Yes, i have gray and it's been getting worse over the years. It's not so much the gray that bothers me, but my natural color tends to look blah and dirty no matter how many times i wash it. So hair color for me is more about brightening up my skin tone and looking less pale and washed out. I hope that when i am older and i have almost 80-90% gray hair that i look good with it, like Emmy Lou Harris or that one actresss that played Queen Elizabeth in the movie "The Queen".

I'm 45 (46 in Nov) and I started getting a few grey hairs after the birth of my first baby when I was 29.

You don't see the greys until you're close up, but I got 'em. At this point, I don't plan on coloring my hair, but who knows if I'll change my mind later.

I'm not too worried about the color, it's more that those darned grey hairs are so wirey that they stick up every which way. I tend to pluck those "stray greys".

In my life, 35 is in the rearview mirror and over the horizon. I have dyed my hair off and on for years. I let my hair go but with the adoption of DD, I feel it is only fair to her to not have a mommy who is completely grey so I dye it.

I'm 41 and have some gray hair. I've dyed it a couple times in the past, but never liked it. I prefer the natural look. However, I've gotten several negative comments about that-- from relatives and strangers alike. Gray hair really bothers some people.
(And don't get me started about the Just for Men commercials... Gray hair? Loser. Colored hair? Winner!)

I am so jealous! I am 44 and I have been coloring for quite a few years now due to gray. I have a ton of it. I do keep it as close to my natural color as possible though which is medium brown. My DH is 46 and I have only seen one gray on him and that was 2 yrs ago. Doesn't seem fair but he does look good!

Ain't that the truth? My MIL told me that women who didn't color their gray hair looked disgusting. I said thanks as I sat there with my graying hair. It's mostly just the hair around my forehead but I'm getting some grays further back now. I've been going gray since I before I turned 30 (I'm 37 now) and it honestly doesn't bother me. Because it's a nice pretty white, I've even had people compliment me on it and ask if I'd had it dyed! So take that, MIL!
