Do you remember me asking about the runner's groove awhile back? I couldn't find it and wanted to know why? Well I think I finally did.

I was running on the dreadmill yesterday and right at four miles, I felt my body switch gears. It was MURDEROUS getting there, but once I got there, I got into a rhythm and finished the six miles. Even at the six mile mark I debated going further

Now the true test, of course, is running this same distance outdoors.

Good for you, Christy.. And just to let you know, I don't always have my groove thing going every time I run. Somedays I just have to force myself to keep on going, other days, after I hit about 1 mile, I'm good to go for the rest of my run. Sometimes, I really think it is more a mental activity and not so much physical, KWIM? If I am thinking I can do a certain mileage, I can but if my mind is not in it, then I just don't even attempt it.

Keep it up!!
