This week has been very difficult for me to get to the gym. With having dh home (which is GREAT) it also presents other obstacles. He completely offsets our normal rhythm (Sometimes in a good way). Having him home also allows me to take a back seat to a lot of things (which is also nice) but also throws me completely off track! LOL

Am I a walking contradiction or what?

Anyway, I've found it very difficult getting to the gym this week with all that we have going on at home and because of that, I am totally feeling sluggish.

Now with my ds starting kindergarten today I've had to also re-evaluate my days and try and come up with another routine so I can fit everything in!

Ugh!

I'm not looking for advice, just wanting to vent. If you've read this far thank you!

How is your week going?

Having contractors in your house always throws everything off!

I'm on sluggish week 2. Since we returned from vacation on 8/2, I just haven't had any motivation to do anything! A week off from work causes too much work when you get back, and my house looks like a tornado has been through it.

If you figure out the key to ending the sluggish feeling, please pass it along! And if you find a great maid, that would help me too!

Hopefully, you can get out of the funk and get to the gym or outside and do your thing that makes you feel good.

I feel more sluggish and whooped when I don't work out too. Like yesterday.. I didn't do anything workout-wise.. I felt like crap all day long. Since I am getting a belly on me now and people know that I am preg., I am getting comments on how I should rethink running, do I really think it's a good idea..........sometimes snide comments too. So I was thinking about all the comments yesterday, and took the day off from running. I felt like crap from lunch time on. Then last night I was going to do my body sculpting, but the kids were watching something and I just felt soo tired, I ended up falling asleep as soon as I laid down, but woke up at 12:30 then couldn't go back to sleep until aroun 5 am. This morning, I sure didn't feel like it but I made myself get up and exercise.. I felt so much better afterwards. My back doesn't hurt and I feel good about running today. So from now on, even if it is only 1-2 miles, I am going to run, because it makes me feel good.

I'm wondering if maybe my cycle is affecting me. How in the world do I work around that? LOL

Debi and I were just PM'ing about this - there must be something in the air. My oldest started school this week but my youngest is still home so my morning exercise routine is not working at the moment. Until today I hadn't worked out since last Friday!!! This morning I forced myself to get up while it was still dark to exercise and just like lamby I felt so much better afterwards. Preschool starts in a few weeks and I will have 3 mornings a week to myself so hopefully I will get into a new groove then. Until that happens, I know it is going to be tough to get my workouts in. I am going to have to make the most of the weekends and try to squeeze in a couple during the week. Blah!

Every day for the past week and a half I have had good intentions of working out but ya know what -- I haven't! Granted i have been doing a ton of things around here but not "busting it out". And we are leaving for Virginia Beach tonight so it will throw my entire routine off!!! I'm hoping when we get home I'll be reenergized and ready to get back into it. My boys start school Sept 3rd and my dd starts pre-school Sept 9th -- so I know my schedule will return once that happens!!!!

We can all get through this!!!

I think we should have a kickoff in September.

All of our clubs seemed to fizzle for the summer, which is understandable.

I've been having the same sluggish issues. Best laid plans haven't been workign out. My husband is out of town and I'm so drained. We didn't know he'd be out of town for the first week with our puppy! He is better with the dogs than the kids because he knows what to expect.. lol.

I'm also having issues with the treadmill. I just don't want to run on it. Without my husband home, I'm forced to... blah, blah, blah
