Our's is October 4th. I am running it with a friend and some of our other friends are walking it! I intend to write the names of those who have survived the battle, and those who have lost it, on my body as I run. I want to do it in their honor.

Anyone else?

I'm not doing the 5K race for a cure, but I am doing the 60 mile 3-day walk in San Diego November 21-23.

I too will be wearing names in honor of survivors, fighters and in memory of those that have lost their battle. My shirt had spaces for 12 names and unfortunately I have far surpassed that! It is scary to realize how many people (men and women) my DH, I and other family and friends know who have been inflicted with this horrible disease.

I have volunteered for our local Race for the Cure in past years - good luck on your run!
