I hardly ever weigh myself. The scale means nothing to me.

This is me too. Now that I'm at goal, I weigh myself daily to keep in check. If I'm up a couple of lbs I work at getting back down again.

I'm everyday as well. For me I think it's just force of habit. Some days I'll find myself stepping on the scale the first thing in the morning, then right after i step out of the shower, and again at night right before getting in bed. As previous poster mention, I just like to keep a handle on things. I don't have time to get exercise in my day, so I've just been concentrating on portion control and eating healthy, and that has worked wonders.

For years and years I was addicted to weighing myself each day. It was horrible. If the scale showed a 2-3 pound gain it would ruin my day. I was obsessed with my weight and connected it too much to my self esteem. That was in my 20s. Now, I hardly ever weigh myself. I think the last time I did was in May.

My weight can fluctuate up to 5 pounds a day. I just go by how I feel and how my clothes fit.

This is where I am at now. I weigh myself a few times a day. I have to or it drives me crazy not knowing.

Well I have to ask you this then:

Most of us don't like what the scale tells us, do you?

If you are compelled to weigh yourself every day, a few times a day or go crazy not knowing, when are you happiest? Before knowing, not knowing or after knowing?

I've never been a person to weigh myself...my parents didn't have a scale growing up and the only times I was weighed, was at doctor's appts. Dh and I don't own a scale. I guess it's just a nonissue for me. I know that I've gained weight or lost weight in how my clothes fit.
