I have had the flu all week, and have been taking allergy medicine to control the sinus problems. Anyway, I've noticed it has Really curbed my appetite, so much so that want to take it even when my sinuses aren't bothering me!

I have a HUGE appetite. I am naturally petite, but I can out eat my husband, no questions asked. I need to lose about 25 lbs. and for six years now I've tried and tried and I just get Too Hungry with anything I've tried. I've tried Weight Watchers over and over, and I just find I am way too hungry on it, and become obsessed with food.

So obviously using sinus medicine won't last forever but when I am taking it, I have to remind myself to eat, it works so well! If I can only control my appetite, I could lose the weight. I eat well, I don't eat a lot junk. I just eat too much of the good stuff and have very little willpower.

Does anyone know of a natural appetite supressant - as in NOT an herb or pill, but more of a Food - or like Apple Cider Vinegar - does this work as an appetite suppressant? I'm not interested in fad diet pills - but if I could find a food that would really curb my appetite, I'm interested!! Thanks!

My guess would be that you haven't been hungry because you're sick with the flu and allergy problems. When I'm sick, food is the last thing on my mind....

I heard an health guru on The Today Show say that eating eggs first thing in the morning will cause you to not be as hungry through out the day? But I like eggs only every now and then so I haven't really tried it.

I'm interested to see what others have to say!
