I did a 60+ mile bike ride today. It took us about 4 hours, but we had several stops. It was a training ride for next Saturday when I am doing the Outlaw Trail 63 mile bike ride.
Last weekend I ran a 5K in 25:07! Yippee for me. I have another 5K run this weekend. Hope my legs hold up!

Maybe it's time for day off to pamper or spa perhaps? Your muscles and mind may need some recovery time

I haven't done a triathlon in about a year. I've gotten more interested in the duathlons. My current training goal is a 25K trail run in January.
Outlaw Trail 100 is a bike ride in Round Rock, TX. My friends only wanted to do the 63 mile instead of the 100.
I actually have a triathlon bike. Slight changes from a road bike. Mostly the aero bars are built in, the seat post is tilted more forward so I use my hamstrings more (instead of all quads) and my tires are smaller.
I was completely recovered by that evening! I am feeling pretty good realizing that I am in that good of riding shape.
Thanks for the support ladies. I have another 5K run this week, but I think I am just going to run it slower with DH.
