-No human kids yet, but we have a chihuahua, rottweiler, 2 dobermans and a mutt. Ask me at the end of 2010 if we have human kids yet!
How did you find Mommysavers? Have you referred anyone here? Were you referred here?
-I believe I googled something about how to save money and have been stuck on MommySavers ever since. I have not referred anybody buy MS does come up in my conversations very often.
What does your user name mean?
-It was my old AOL screenname from way back in the day and it just stuck. I can't remember the reasoning behind it.
Out of all the things the members here have offered in terms of advice, support, counsel and criticism, what have you personally benefited from? And do you remember specifically who the member was that offered that advice?
-There are quite a few members on here that offer so much to everybody. I think the best thing about any advice given on here is the fact that it is the brutal truth and sometimes that is what you need to hear because sometimes your close personal friends can sugarcoat what they think so your feelings do not get hurt, on MS it is like nothing is held back and I LOVE IT!
How many coupons do you use on a regular basis?
-I usually use at least 15 coupons every trip to the grocery store. We are only shopping for 2 people so we do not buy too much at once. I do try to use coupons when we go out to eat and other activities such as museums and things like that. I do not like paying full price for anything!!
What was your most recent "bargain"?
-I got a coupon from Mighty Dog food for a free can of dog food and then attached was a coupon for 'Buy 4 cans Get 1 Free' (from MommySavers) and when I redeemed it at my grocery store it was double coupon and I basically only paid for 2 cans. I know it is not that big of a deal but that happened the other day and is considered my MOST recent bargain.
What have you done to save money this week?
-We have made a pact to eat at home ALL this week and not get any fast food or go out to eat. We usually do this a few times a week so we are going to save at least $60 this week.
What do you consider a way of life that others think is a crazy way to save?
-I love hang drying my clothes, it makes them last longer and is cheaper but some people say they cannot wait that long for clothes to dry or the fact that it takes up space in the house.
What is your favorite store in which to find bargains?
-ANY STORE! I really love Ross, AJ Wright, Marshalls, TJ Maxx
What is the best deal you ever found (even if it wasn’t at your favorite store)?
-We purchased a tiki fish tank stand. It has the base, 4 pieces that goes around the tank and a huge tiki top (looks like a tiki bar) for $30.00. We already had the right size fish tank in my garage and it goes with our theme in one of the rooms. We kept second guessing the price tag thinking it was a mistake.
What is your best money saving tip?
-Take the few minutes and clip those coupons! It might seem like a hassle but after you save money you will realize it is worth it!
What is your favorite frugal meal?
-Spaghetti (without meat if I am being REALLY frugal)
Do you enter contests? If so, what is the best prize you’ve ever won?
-I never seem to have the best of luck with contests 
If money were no object, what 3 things would you buy yourself or your family?
-Buy myself a brand new Honda Pilot, I would love to take my mom to Germany so we could research her family and then I would love to take all of my family on an all exclusive cruise for 2 weeks.
If you had $10 to spend on yourself (you and you alone) what would you buy?
-Flip flops
