**Disclaimer**
MS Mom of the Week is a fun way for us to get to know the Mommysavers members. Newbies to the board as well as regulars are welcome to participate. The Mom of the Week is randomly selected a week in advance of her being featured. I do this so I can contact you, let you know your feature date, and arrange to receive a picture from you to include with the survey. Having a picture included is so we can make it a little more personal and put a name to a face. This is optional of course, as are all the questions being asked. If I don’t hear back from you before your “feature” date, I will randomly select the next person and then get back to you the following week. If you would like to participate please PM Christy_K_ and we will get you signed up.

kelly

yes! we tried for 6 yrs before i found the st. doctor who gave me my magic metformin pill.......!
Have you ever met someone who has completely inspired you to be a better person? Can you tell us about that relationship and how it has affected you?
not one person - i admire many things from many people. i try NOT to be like my MIL and instead, be a open minded, non judgemental, all faiths respected, generous, happy person.
Do you have any nervous habits? What are they?
eat.
Did you ever date a guy your parents did not like? Were they right about him?
absolutely - but he was an awesome kisser and since they disapproved, it made him that much more desireable...thus i overlooked what a jerk he really was cause i was too busy pissing off my parents.
What do you want your kids to remember the most about you?
that i am my own person and that i make great toast.
What did you learn the most from your mother?
not to let a man humilate you and take away your dignity. oh and she also taught me to buy quality shoes and clothes - they last longer. oh, and she also taught me that yes, sometimes you need to use a toothbrush to clean - but dont use yours, use your husbands. and i do.
How many coupons do you use on a regular basis? What is your best money saving tip?
im one of those that cuts them then doesnt use them....my best money saving tip is to get over yourself that your kids need new toys all the time and that garage saleing is "beneath" anyone
How did you find Mommysavers? Have you referred anyone here? Were you referred here?
i have been a member for almost 3 years...i just found it i think.
Out of all the things the members here have offered in terms of advice, support, counsel and criticism, what have you personally benefited from? And do you remember specifically who the member was that offered that advice?
i credit mommysavers 200% on clueing me in on sales/deals that i would have never known was going on. the target markdown schedule in particular. i check the sale/deals areas first and most frequently when im online.
Have you ever met a mommysaver?
yes - very nice but we were worlds apart. she was a sweet, attachment parenting, homeschooling, sleep in the bed mother and i am a weird, when the h##l is school starting, do not get out of your bed, hot dogs are good for you mother.
What is the most romantic thing your dh ever did for you?

How many frogs did you kiss before you found Mr. Right? Was he worth the wait?
i married a great guy - we're a great team.
What is your favorite genre of music? Who is your favorite group? Have you ever seen them in concert?

Which room in your house best reflects your personality?
my laundry room - 100% organized behind the cabinets, 100% disorganized ontop of the washer/dryer, my bra hanging on the door nob, a twix bar wrapper shoved in some crevice, odd sock, dog food and some permission slip on the floor and my collection of metal lunchboxes ontop of the cabinets
What do you see your children growing up to be like? What career path would they choose?
i want them to be passionate about something (sports, music, whatever) i want them to be well traveled, good natured and independant - with a mission to help others as their constant goal in life. and i want them to visit their mother and bring me chocolate.
Is there something we would never guess about you? Some kind or quirk you have no one close to you knows about. (C’mon tell us!!!!)
